A Leica goes to Italy

Well hey there!

It’s been a decent bit since I posted. I’ll assume it will most likely not be a blog I update daily by any stretch, but I wanted to wait and post when I actually have nice shots to share. Otherwise my instagram suffices 😎.

We stopped first in Venice. Really surprised us as we didn’t see it being that much fun honestly, what with the massive increase in tourism there over the last decade. I went in the early 2000s and even then as a teenager it was beautiful but tiring. This time around I love every second of it. We stayed in a quiet district and perused the streets at night stopping and little hole in the wall bars. It was wonderful.

This same shot would have been choked full of tourist ferries just a couple hours before. Now it’s peaceful and quiet. Definitely recommend seeing Venice at night.

Start eating early in the night and slowly build steam until you have to roll home. 🤣😉. I’ve never had so many Spritzs in my life.

The middle shot there is my friends little film camera. We’ll see if he got some good shots here soon when we develop his photos. Anyway check out that awesome picture of a crane! 🙃
